The Chaiwala, which has been a new genre of cafes with fine European ambience and wooden interiors, with an emphasis on specialty teas. After successfully serving for over 2 years at a posh Tollygunge locality, they are now with another branch at Hemanta Mukherjee Sarani, Kolkata 29, opposite Lake Girls School.
The new branch offers unique features wherein the interior space will be given to contemporary painters and other artists to showcase their arts, mainly for charitable purposes. And they are starting with few unbelievable pieces done by children of the Refuge, a renowned NGO. The money thus collected will be donated to Refuge NGO who would use it for their child welfare initiatives. This cause has been supported by other well-known NGOs such as the "Thank You" and the "Supertron Foundation."
