In this concrete Jungle the city of Joy now seems to be confined within the parameters of a 8400 Sq Ft arena. WHOOPPEE, the city’s largest amusement park for Kids is now the iota of oxygen in this bubble of pollution.

On this 8th of February Whooppee got inaugurated in the presence of veteran actress Rituparna Sengupta and over 25 children from All Bengal Women’s Home, a city based NGO.

The Gambino designed park does not only limit itself to fun rides, a discotheque for kids designed by Pulin Shah of Mumbai is the game changer her and actually makes Whooppee stand out when it comes to amusement parks.

Whooppee has been zoned out  into three zones respectively, each zone unfolding something more fun than the previous ones.

Zone 1 is devoted to the mother & toddler, the area consists of a small gym like structure, a ball pool, cushioned slides, climbies, fish water bed, soft play, wall games and other ride-ons. There is also a doll house, soft puzzle blocks, tunnels and more slides.

Zone 2 represents a huge structure with 18 different kinds of activities like gun ball shooting, Buddha bridge, swing, slide, ball pool and trampoline for kids between of 4 to 12 year olds.

Zone 3 has some of the interesting games like projector ball throw, sand table, real time fishing pond and video games. For the first time in India, there will be a discotheque for the kids, painted in neon colour and soft gel flooring with high end sound and light system

Whooppee is the childhood of the children of our city. The proprietor of Whooppee, Swati More is of the view that the main aim of this venture is to relief these children of the rat race. Whooppee will necessarily have to replace the presence of lush green parks in the city.
