India is celebrating its 72nd Republic Day today. As we celebrate the day with lots of patriotism and fervour. Farmers organised a tractor rally from Tikri border on 26th January marching towards the inner circle of our national capital.

Farmers protesting against agricultural reforms breached barricades and clashed with police at Delhi, as the police officials fired tear gas to restrain them, shortly after a convoy of tractors trundled through the Delhi's outskirts.

However, the tractor rally turned violent when a large group of farmers in tractors, car and bike broke the police barrier placed under ITO flyover on Ring Road.

The protesters reached ITO crossing and destroyed the DTC bus placed to stop tractors. Police used tear gas and batons to chase away farmers.

The tractor rally was organised by the farmer unions on Republic Day against the new farm laws.

A farmer lost his life during the clash between the police and officers.
