We are currently fighting with one of the most infectious diseases COVID-19, which has affected 15.5 million people worldwide and 634K lost their lives to the virus. Humans were caged inside their house for the first time in the century to stop the spread of the disease. Someone rightly said empty mind is a devils workshop.
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by another patient on 15th July night in South Delhi's at the Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre. The police officers said, the incident took place when the girl had gone to the washroom at night.
19-year-old man sexually assaulted the minor girl while another man filmed the horrendous incident on his mobile and stood there as a guard. Police officials further added, both the men were arrested and sent to juridical custody after the complaint was filed by the girl.
This is so dishearting and disgusting to see this kind of news during these troubled times. Will this ever stop? When will we learn RAPE is a crime? If they can rape at the age of 19 then they need to put behind the bars.
