Coronavirus outbreak in India has taken over the country as India registered 66,732 cases in the last 24 hours and 816 deaths. Now the tally stands at 71,20,538 which is 71 Lakh COVID cases. 

COVID cases in Bengal are rising like a skyrocket as the people are gearing up for the grandest festival. On Sunday, 11th October West Bengal registered fresh 3,612 COVID-19 cases, the highest single-day spike taking the tally to 2,94,806. 59 deaths have been reported and the death toll stands at 5,622

The bulletin of the health department also reported, 3,032 COVID patients were cured in the last 24 hours. Now, the active cases in the state rose to 30,236 and the discharge rate is 87.84%. However, the total number of COVID-19 tests in West Bengal stands at 36.93 lakh. 

 

 

We panicked when the number of cases was 300 and now, that our country has 71 Lakh COVID cases, we are not bothered at all. As we need to get back to work while adapting with the new normal. We can't forget wearing our mask and maintaining social distance to keep our family and ourselves safe.
