Sushant Singh Rajput left us for heavenly abode on 14th June 2020. His untimely death sparked a lot of controversies and people are left wondering how the young, enthusiastic actor passed away cause of suicide.

Fuel was added to the blazing debate as soon as Sushant Singh Rajput's dad filed a complaint against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family.

Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande has slammed about the depression theory being circulated about the late actor. During an exclusive interview with Republic TV Ankita said, depression is a strong and wrong word to use in this matter.

She says, ‘depression’ is such a big word, he can be upset about a few things, Sushant was never a kind of guy to be in depression. “He was a happy-go-lucky guy.”

Ankita further opened up and shared, he was one of a kind. I never met someone who used to write about his dream, his 5 year plans what he wants to be, how he wants to look. He used to maintain his diary and achieved it in the upcoming times.

She adds, He wished to make short films, he used to say if my empire even gets demolished. I’ll build it again. For him, money was a mere part of life, but the passion for work was big. I wonder how someone can call his death a suicide in just 15 minutes.

Ankita revealed, how the late actor had to wait for three years to get a break in films and he had a lot of patience.

Ankita Lokhande further quotes, “Being called bipolar and depressed is a big word to use”. I want people to remember Sushant as a hero and not as a depressed guy, which he wasn’t.
