Kolkata, August 17 : Bollywood Diva Mahima Choudhury has been awarded the best actress for the movie Dark Chocolate that premiered at the Festival of Globe (FOG) in the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, California on Saturday August 13.

Directed by Agnidev Chatterjee and Produced by Pradip Churiwal, the movie is a fictional take based on the gruesome murder of Sheena Bora. The movie is set for pan-India release on September 2.

FOG is one of the biggest festivals for the Indian Diaspora in the USA. Organised by Festival of Globe and Federation of Indo Americans, a Non-Profit Organization, FOG features the best of world cinema with a gateway to Silicon Valley that fosters creative and technical talent.

Actor Mahima Chowdhury said: “I am deeply honoured. To be recognized for acting is the greatest honour for an actress.”

Besides Mahima, Riya Sen plays a significant role in the movie, along with Rajesh Sharma, Mumtaz Sorcar, Indrashis Roy, Kaushik Sen and Sudip Mukherjee.
