Actor cum Director Parambrata Chatterjee’s starrer movie Dwitiyo Purush also stars Raima Sen, Gaurav Chakraborty and Anirban Bhattacharya recently hit the theatres and is loved by the critics and audiences.

Recently in an interview with The Times of India, the Tollywood heartthrob was seen discussing why there is limited success in the Bengali Film Industry. As per the reports of SpotBoye the actor said, if anyone wishes to make a movie by going beyond the Kolkata, then the film is not successful. Well, people do not want to face reality. They only want to see the charm of city life.

Parambrata also compared Bengali cinema with movies from the South and said their movies are a complete package as it has all the elements and even portrays the rural life.

On the work front, the actor has recently announced another directorial project which is a biopic on our beloved Feluda which is non-other than Legendary Tollywood actor Soumitra Chatterjee.

Parambrata Chatterjee also announced another movie of his which is slated to release in February titled as ‘Shokuner Lov’ helmed by Anindya Bikash Datta produced by Eros International.
