Tollywood’s celebrated actress Rituparna Sengupta has bagged two Bangladeshi films. The name of the movies has been disclosed one is Gangchil and Jam.

In the movie Gangchil, the Bengali actress will be sharing the screen with famous Bangladeshi actor Ferdous. The story of the movie is based on the novel of Bangladesh’s transport minister Obaidul Quader. Rituparna will be portraying the character of Bijli though the actress isn’t revealing much about the movie.

Earlier in the movie, ‘Datta’ directed by Nirmal Chakraborty actor Ferdous was supposed to be the male lead opposite her, but due to visa-related issues, he couldn’t be part of the project.

The Bengali actress is also playing the lead character in ‘Jam’ opposite Arifin Subho. Rituparna and Arifin are set to reunite for the second time as the duo had earlier worked together in ‘Ahaa Re’ where Arifin played the character of a Bangladeshi Chef.

Rituparna Sengupta’s latest Bangladeshi film which was recently released and has won 4 national awards in Bangladesh. However, the actress also has a lot of films lined up in the Bengali film industry, some of which includes Indrasis Acharya’s ‘Parcel’, Murari M Rakshit’s ‘Chhut’ and Arindam Sil’s ‘Maya Kumari’.
