Kolkata witnessed yet another gem of a music album rendition, ‘Love With Tagore’ on 16th of February at Press Club, Kolkata to honour Rabindranath Tagore and celebrate the pure feeling that love is. The album by Music Zone features love songs of Tagore sung by Surojit Chatterjee and rendered by Durnibar Saha, Dipanwita Chowdhury, Anwesha Dutta, Sovan Ganguly.
Being orchestrated by Sudipto Saha convincingly enough to keep the current generation hooked, the album beautifully captures all the shades of love. Durnibar sang Har Mana Har Porabo Tomar Gole & Sohena Jatona, Sovan sang Jodi Jantem Amar Kiser Byatha ,Aaj Jemon Kore Gaichhe Akash, Anwesha went for Tomay Sajabo Jotone ,O Keno Churi Kore Chay, while Dipanwita rendered Tumi Kon Kanoner Phool & Ketechhe Ekela Biroher Bela.
Durnibar exclaimed, “It was a great experience rendering Tagore songs for this album which is meant for celebration of love. Tagore was a master in creating love songs. There is no comparison of his songs in any phase of our life till date.”
Sovan added, “Tagore songs are part and parcel of our life. His songs are very lyrical while tunes follow the lyrics.”
