The city of joy is gearing up for the biggest festival of Bengal amid the pandemic. This year pujar gondho (the aura of Durga Puja) didn’t come early because of two obvious reasons, COVID-19 epidemic and the 35 days long gap between Mahalaya and Shashti and phenomenon is attributed as Mala Mash or Unholy month and for the dominance of COVID-19 virus.

Doctors are worried about the aftereffect of COVID-19 which can be suicidal if people don’t follow rules and regulations on the streets during Puja. Even though the buzz of Durga Puja is lowkey but people have different plans for the 5 days of Bengal’s grandest festival.

2020 is not the year where we can expect good news. But believe me or not, we have got good news for the beer lovers of Bengal, you can save some money this DURGA PUJA!!

Prices of beers will come down next week, following the new notice issued by West Bengal State Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) on Wednesday.

The prices of light beer will drop by 25-40% while the price of strong beer will come down by 15-20%, as per the new price structure making the beverage cheapest across the country.

This Durga Puja the demand for BEER will be sky-high. Stay safe at home and enjoy your favourite beer, while saving some penny!
