On his YouTube channel, Ed Sheeran posted a video from his vacation to India in which he is seen having a good time during a day in Mumbai. Cricket player Shubman Gill and comedian Tanmay Bhat were with him in the video. Shubman mentioned that he used to play for SRK's IPL club, the Kolkata Knight Riders, during their talk, when Ed mentioned that he was delighted to see Shah Rukh Khan the same day.
In the YouTube video, Ed, Tanmay, and Shubman were spotted in a restaurant sampling Indian cuisine. "I'm going to see Shah Rukh Khan for dinner tonight," he declared. Shubman said, "I used to play for his team," at this point. Tanmay tells Ed that Shah Rukh has an IPL team called Kolkata Knight Riders, where Shubman used to play, as Ed expresses amazement that he has a team.
"Ask him why did they not retain me," Shubman noted. At this time, all three of them start laughing.
