Badshah's latest track 'Genda Phool' ft. Payal Dev starring Jacquline Fernandez has been creating a buzz since its release. If you haven't heard 'Genda Phool' yet you belong to the stone age, no matter you're a Badshah fan or not you should listen to his latest single to understand why it became an instant hit among music lovers!

The Hindi track garnered a lot of negative attention as it includes few lines from the Bengali folk song 'Boroloker Bitilo' penned by Ratan Kahan in the '70s. Badshah was accused of plagiarism for not giving credit to the original track. However, the bad boy denied all the accusations and said, his team was trying to reach Mr Kahar but due to lockdown, they couldn't reach out to him.

Badshah also said he is ready to help Ratan Kahar on humanitarian grounds. As per the reports of TOI, Badshah has transferred Rs. 5 Lakh rupees in Ratan Kahar's bank account and expressed his gratitude.

The report further suggests, the veteran folk artiste will receive recognition for his song. The credits were earlier attributed to Badshah, now it has been revised.

TOI report further suggests, Kahar was happy to receive the monetary help and recognition. He further thanked Badshah and invited Badshah to visit him in Siuri after the lockdown.

Plagiarism and remakes are not something new in the Indian music industry. Do you think Badshah's gesture towards Kahar was acceptable?
