Bengali television actor Neel Bhattacharya, is a famous name in every household for his character Nikhil in the serial Krishnakoli.
Nikhil had a busy work schedule post the lockdown and was taking all the necessary precautions during the troubled times. However, on 4th August the actor tested COVID-19 positive.
Neel is now into complete home quarantine and isolation as he is worried about his parents with whom he came into close contacts over a few days. They will be tested soon.
A few days back his colleague, actor Vivaan Ghosh was tested positive who is part of the serial. Just after Neel came to know about this, he went into isolation for seven days and didn't go for the shoot. He resumed work just after his doctor said he has no such symptoms.
As per the reports, Neel didn't have any symptoms apart from losing his ability to smell and taste since Sunday and he got himself tested on Monday. The dashing actor has promised to donate his plasma to others suffering from the disease once he recovers.
Neel is still trying to figure out how he came in contact with the virus regardless of all the precautions.
