India is under Lockdown since it began on 24th March. The life of every individual changed during the pandemic be it their work culture or habits. COVID-19 has heckled every industrial sector, it has also left a hole in the film industry and the entertainment industry has become virtual.
As the fondness towards OTT platforms has kept the people sane at home during an unprecedented time. Recently, Films and Frames launched the exclusive new logo of 'Digital Film Awards' presented by Helo partnered by FFace. Eminent personalities from the film fraternity, actress Aparajita Auddy, Srabanti Chatterjee, Phenomenal Director duo Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha, National Award-winning director Prabhat Roy among others unveiled the logo.
Films and Frames have come up with an innovative idea of organising a digital award ceremony considering about the transitional period in our lives, this brilliant idea is the child of Neil Roy, the founder of FFace. The award function will be presented by Helo and partnered by FFace. It'll be hosted by the versatile actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay and other film personas. It's going to be the first-ever at-home award function and 9:16 Vertical format professional "specially designed for digital experience".
National Award Winning Film Director Goutam Ghose said, “We are launching the first-ever Digital Film Awards to honour all the talents of the Tollywood Film Fraternity. The Awards Show is for all films released from 1st April 2019 - 31st Mar 2020. It will comprise all major established actors/actress/filmmakers and film technicians and award them for their hard work”.
National Award winning director Prabhat Roy said during the launch of 'Digital Film Awards' new logo, “Since these are unprecedented times, many filmmakers believe that movies and film awards should be given the digital platform as we are in the middle of a crisis. This is going to be the first-ever Digital Film Award Show. We are very excited to launch the logo of Digital Film Awards Show today with you all”.
Chhandita Nambiar, Head of Entertainment, Helo addressed the initiative and said, “Our partnership with Films and Frames is a reflection of our commitment towards our users, as we endeavour to facilitate deeper engagements between them and their favourite celebrities. The award show will be available from 5th July 2020 exclusively on Helo, Facebook, IGTV and Youtube, directed by Sudeshna Roy, Abhijit Guha and Pallavi Chattejee.
