As we are planning to bid goodbye to one of the cursed year, wondering when can we get back to the good old happy days without the fear of COVID-19. 

Scientists, doctors are running around the clock to get COVID-19 vaccines rolled out, as early as possible. Just then another terrific news aired on the international prime time, another strain of Coronavirus has been found in the UK, South Africa, France spreading massively, raising awareness across the globe. 

At least 20 passengers from the UK tested positive for COVID-19, as the government issued a stringent set of SOPs mandating RT-PCR tests at airports for each traveller from the country and isolation in a separate unit of an institutional facility for positive cases in view of the new coronavirus strain.

 India and several other countries have imposed a travel ban to and from the UK, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has imposed a harsh lockdown in London and most of southeast England, banning large Christmas gatherings starting from 20 December.

It’s said this new strain of Coronavirus can deadlier than COVID-19.  

NITI Aayog member (Health) Dr V K Paul, There is no need to panic but there is cause to be more vigilant. He further added “We are yet to spot such a virus in our country. We will be safe if we suppress the genomic sequence,”  

Rajasthan and Mumbai have again imposed night curfew!
