In India, the number of Coronavirus cases surged past 10,000 mark many and fatalities 339, as per the reports of Health Ministry Data.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Tuesday 14th April at 10 a.m. on the last day of the 21 day lockdown for the third time in the wake of Coronavirus. PM Modi announced that the lockdown will be extended till 3rd May and it’ll be imposed more strictly.
PM Modi began his address by lauding the efforts of Indian citizens for their ‘efforts, discipline and sacrifice’. He said, the virus is spreading rapidly, but because of the people of India we are able to combat the pandemic with full force.
India’s combat with the Coronavirus pandemic is going ahead with full force, says PM Modi. While addressing the nation, he said, it may not be correct to compare our efforts with other nations. Well, our country is in a better position than any other developed nation.
Mr Modi assures the nation that there’s enough food and available in the country. No one has to stay hungry during the crisis.
He credits the people stuck away from home for their persistence in this fight regardless of endless difficulties, I bow down to you.
The center will closely monitor the hotspot areas across the country and the areas which have no hotspot will get partial relief for our poor compatriots who are daily wage earners. Till 20th April state, locality, districts will be strictly monitored on how strictly they’re implementing the norms, he said.
